The OTHERS newsletter is a quarterly communication to donors at The Salvation Army. What was previously only a printed newsletter mailed to over fifteen thousand donors and contained six to eight short articles was revised to be a newsletter that focused on three to four feature stories and was available through print, email and the website. While the newsletter was not an active fundraising vehicle the revised issues raised an average of $5,000 per issue at a cost of $2,500 per issue. I conducted interviews and handled the writing, layout and photography for each issue as well as the design of the new template.
